Tuesday, January 9, 2018 session at the JICC Conference Room

The first Aikido session of 2018 at the Japan Information & Culture Centre (JICC) kicked off with a large turnout of newcomers and given the fact that our 'dojo' is not very spacious, we had to make do with the small space by 'dividing' the 'dojo' into two with the newcomers going through the basics such as basic Ukemi, Tsugi Ashi and proper Kamae.

Walter Kohai took charge of the more experienced Aikidoka and it was quite a good start to the year.

A reminder of the following upcoming Aikido events/seminars:

Takeshi Kanazawa Shihan and Jun Satodate Hombu Instructor Tour (H.I.T.) in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania between January 27 and 30, 2018

Andreas Schriber Sensei and Klaus Lehan Sensei will be at Nairobi Aikikai between February 5 and 7, 2018

Aikido seminar in Zanzibar between February 9 and 11, 2018
