Saturday's Class - Seminar Day 2

We covered the following techniques, from TachiWaza KatateDori:
  • Tenchi Nage (from RyoteDori)
  • AiHanmi Nikyo
  • AiHanmi Sankyo
  • Kaiten Nage

Oh, yes - the fitness exercises. Now these are no joke - simple, fun, but exhausting!

Key points to remember:
  • keep foot firmly on ground
  • don't bend; keep the back straight

Weapons class at Nick's place was Jo - a review of Sansho 1 and it's concepts such as the gripping, distance, and striking
