It was all about Tori controlling Uke and Sensei took us through the following techniques which were all executed from the Ai Hanmi Katatedori stance.
FIRST HOUR(OMOTE):
-Ikkyo.
-Sankyo.
-Yonkyo.
SECOND HOUR(URA):
-Kote Gaeshi.
-Shiho Nage.
-Nikyo.
-Sokumen Irimi Nage.
Controlling Uke is one hell of a task as was evident as one ends up pulling Uke instead of controlling especially in the case of Sokumen Irimi Nage whereby most of us ended up pulling Uke in the initial movement which in a real life situation can be disastrous as Uke will react with a fist to Tori's face!!!
