Despite the unexpected downpour, the turnout was quite satisfactory which included four newcomers who also took part in the session until the end.
We began with a brief warm up session followed by Mae Ukemi from both Suwari Waza and Tachi Waza (for the more experienced ones)as well as mae and Ushiro Shikko.
We kicked off the session with the following:
-The opening of Katatedori Uchi Kaiten(without the 'throwing' part).
-Katatedori Shiho Nage Omote and Ura respectively.
Kitayama Sensei joined us later on and explained to us the basics of Katatedori Shiho Nage Omote as well as Katatedori Kokyu Nage with Ukemi being performed from Suwari Waza.
The session ended with Haishin Undo.
