One of those moments...

I really can't summarize the spirit of this event in just a few sentences.
As always - just when my body got used to amount of classes and I can focus more on presented techniques, less on mere surviving this thing, there is onlt two days of seminar left ;-(

I think this is very good seminar. Very many advanced students, not a lot of injuries, lot of sincere effort...

Let me just tell you that I notified Chiba sensei of our activities in Nairobi and we got his blessing.

Warm greetings from Poland

Fridays class

After we got spoilt with this two hour class on Wednesdays and sometimes 2.5 hours on Saturdays - one hour class on Friday seems so short. Still we managed to go through ai-hanmi ikkyo omote, then shomen-uchi ikkyo omote and then this funny technique somewhere between ikkyo and shiho-nage.

Tuesday class

Today we extensively focused on mae and ushiro ukemi. Tried my trick of teaching ukemi with big balls ;-)
Then we moved to kaiten-nage, both uchi and soto.
Then we tried kokyu-nage.
And then, at the end of the class we explored Shohato - the first form of Shoden of Muso Shinden Ryu.

Saturday class - continued

This Saturday we dwelled a bit on mae-ukemi, I continued to exercise my idea of teaching mae-ukemi with these big balls ;-) I think it was fun.

Then we did ushiro-ryote-dori shiho-nage, ushiro-ryote-dori kote-gaeshi, ushiro-ryote-dori sankyo, also tried ushiro-ryote-dori kokyu-ho.

Then we went back to basics of shiho-nage, tried to polish a bit tai-no tenkan-ho. We finished the day with gyaku-hanmi reversed kote-gaeshi.

Quite a lot of techniques, quite demanding class.
