Finally the Tatami is here!

A huge thank you to Andreas Schriber Sensei who made it possible for us to possess our own Tatami for the very first time!

The Tatami arrived at the Japan embassy at about 17:30 hrs and we spent the next half hour or so offloading the brand new Tatami from the truck that transported it from the warehouse into the JICC with the remainder being packed inside Joshua Kohai's vehicle.

After arranging the Tatami, the session kicked off with a quick warm up session followed by basic breakfalls. Thereafter, Daniel Sempai guided us through the following:

TACHI WAZA :

-Katatedori Kokyu Ho.

-Katatedori Irimi Nage Omote.

-Ryo Kata Dori Kokyu Nage.

P.S. For those who are unaware, the tatami that was shipped from Switzerland courtesy of Andi Sensei is in nairobi and KES 156,800 is needed for release of the Tatami.
