Thursday, April 27, 2017 session at the JICC Conference Room

The turnout was not a large as it has been since the year began but all in all the session got underway with a light warm up session followed by Mae, Ushiro, Gyaku and Yoko Ukemi all in Tachi Waza.

To prepare us for Suwari Waza techniques we went through a Shikko 'marathon' before embarking on the day's attacks/techniques as follows:

SUWARI WAZA :

-Ai Hanmi Katatedori Ikkyo Omote & Ura.

HANMI HANDACHI WAZA :

-Katatedori Shiho Nage (two versions).

TACHI WAZA :

-Yokomen Uchi Shiho Nage Omote & Ura.

Haishin Undo was in hand to close the day's session.

Thursday, April 20, 2017 session at the JICC Conference Room

A brief round of warm up exercises courtesy of Joshua Kohai kicked off the day's session which was closely followed by Mae and Ushiro Ukemi (Tachi Waza).

Katatedori Kokyu Nage (Kakarigeiko) followed later on as we prepared for the techniques of the day.

The rest of the session featured the following:

TACHI WAZA :

-Ushiro Ryo Kata dori Shiho Nage Omote.

-Ushiro Ryote dori Nikyo Omote.

-Ushiro Ryo Kata dori Kokyu Nage (Kakarigeiko).

-Ushiro Ryo Kata dori Sankyo (Omote & Ura).

-Ushiro Ryo Kata dori Genkei Kokyu Nage.

Haishin Undo wrapped up the session.
