Monday, January 30, 2012 session at the Goan Gymkhana

It is always great to begin the week with a good body workout and this Monday was no exception.

After the usual warm up exercises,Ben Sempai took us through the first hour basically from the Gyaku Hanmi Katatedori stance and the techniques were:Uchi Kaiten Nage and Soto kaiten Nage.

I must admit the above techniques still give me a hard time especially the propelling of Uke to perform an Ukemi.

The second hour belonged to Daniel Sempai and he took us through the following techniques:
-Gyaku Hanmi Katate dori Shiho Nage Omote(Two versions)

-Gyaku Hanmi Katate dori Kokyu Ho

-Morote dori Kokyu Nage

-Hanmi handachi Shiho Nage

To top up the second hour,we went through some sweaty physical exercises that left practically every one of us dead beat.....lovely session!!!
