Thursday, September 28, 2017 session at the JICC Conference Room

It was Toshiyuki Kitayama Sensei's last day of posting in Nairobi and it is with a heavy heart that Nairobi Aikikai bids farewell to Toshi San as he progresses in his career at his new posting which coincidentally will be here in the African continent (if interested to know where, you are required to do 100 Ukemi before I tell you).

The session kicked off with warm up exercises, followed by Mae, Ushiro, Gyaku & Yoko Ukemi (Tachi Waza) as well as Mae & Ushiro Shikko then what followed was as follows:

SUWARI WAZA:

-Ai Hanmi Katatedori Ikkyo Omote & Ura.

-Ai Hanmi Katatedori Nikyo Omote & Ura.

-Zagi Kokyu Ho.

TACHI WAZA:

-A version of Irimi Nage from the opening of Katatedori Shiho Nage Omote.

The session ended with Haishin Undo.

Nairobi Aikikai takes this opportunity to send a heartfelt 'asante' to Toshiyuki san for his contribution in the growth of our club durig the last two years and ten months and we hope to see him very soon either here in Kenya, around Africa or even in the land of the rising sun.

Below are some pics together with Toshi San after yesterday's session as well as some memorabilia for Toshi San:
