I will let the knee caps 'say' exactly how the session went down as for us who began the session doing Shikko & techniques from Suwari Waza,we left the 'dojo' with peeling and aching knee caps.
As far as the techniques go,which we did after a brief warm up session,all was well and Ben Sempai kicked off the first 45 minutes with the following attacks/techniques:
From Suwari Waza:
-Ai Hanmi Katatedori Ikkyo Omote & Ura respectively.
-Ai Hanmi Katatedori Nikyo Omote & Ura respectively.
-Shomen Uchi Irimi Nage and Kokyu Ho respectively.
A brief session of Jiyu Waza featuring the attacks/techniques mentioned above followed thereafter.
The two boys who joined us had their separate session with Ben Sempai whereby they went through the basics of Ukemi and the opening for Ai Hanmi Katatedori Ikkyo Omote.
The remainder of the session we went through the following:
From Tachi Waza:
-Tsuki Ikkyo Omote.
-Katatedori Rokkyo.
-Ushiro Kubishime from the opening of Katatedori Uchi Kaiten.
The session ended with Haishin Undo to stretch the aching backs.
