Before detailing about what we went through during the session,I would like to welcome back our chairman Jason Sempai who has been away due to various commitments but who was present during the session and also guided us through some techniques.
It was 'D day' for the karatekas in the main hall as they were being graded thus,Ben Sempai decided to join us and after a brief work out session followed by the dreaded Mae Ukemi(Tachi Waza) over two Uke and Ushiro Ukemi(Tachi Waza)using one Uke as a 'barrier'.
The techniques we went through with Ben Sempai are as follows:
From Tachi Waza:
-Katatedori: Ikkyo Omote,Kokyu Nage,Shiho Nage(Omote & Ura),Uchi Kaiten Nage and Soto Kaiten Nage respectively.
Jason Sempai guided us through the remainder of the session with the following techniques:
From Tachi Waza:
-Ai Hanmi Katatedori: Irimi Nage(Gedan,Chudan & Jodan)and Nikyo Ura respectively.
After the session we held a brief discussion on the way forward and it was decided that we would try and contact Piotr MASZTALERZ Shidoin and arrange for him to come and conduct a seminar here with us.
